Physical medicine and rehabilitation is a medical specialty. As a rehabilitation physician, I can diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, perform injections and coordinate a complete rehabilitation plan. Physiotherapy is one part of the treatment I may prescribe.
Most procedures are quick and well tolerated. For hyaluronic acid and neurotoxin injections I use very fine needles and, when needed, topical anaesthetic cream. Many patients say they barely feel any discomfort.
I work with private patients. During the first consultation we assess your case and I explain the treatment plan with full cost transparency. I can issue an invoice for you to submit to your insurer if your policy covers reimbursement.
